Welcome to the Guarantees of Origin Register

Guarantees of Origin are a tool enabling the determination of the origin of electrical energy, i.e., the technology and place of production of a given energy unit. So far renewable energy sources (RES) and combined heat and power (CHP) are covered by the GO system. Guarantees of Origin are offered to end consumers of electrical energy, allowing them to certify that the energy they purchase comes from renewable sources or CHP. Upon a request from the seller, the owner of the GO, TGE issues a document certifying the source of a specific amount of energy purchased by end consumers. The trading of GOs is based on the on Renewable Energy Sources Act, and on the Promotion Of High-Efficiency Cogeneration Electric Energy Act.

More information about GOs can be found on the website of the Polish Power Exchange: https://tge.pl/en/registry-of-origin-guarantees We appreciate any comments regarding the Guarantees of Origin Register. You can reach us @ rejestr@tge.pl or by calling +48 22 341 99 24.
